I am a Spanish to English translator. As a native English speaker with an M.A. and training in Spanish-English translation and interpretation, I have the skills to express your Spanish text in the best possible English—based on your message, your audience, and your needs.
In addition, I provide desktop publishing as a standalone service or in addition to translation and editing projects. Prior experience with desktop publishing includes brochures, newsletters, promotional postcards, flyers, and concert programs. I provide formatted documents ready to print or publish online using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Publisher, and related programs.

Who is McRoberts Translations?
I am Rachel McRoberts, a San Diego-based Spanish to English translator. I hold a certificate in Spanish/English translation and interpretation and an M.A. in anthropology. I have worked in nonprofit administration and marketing; I lived in Barcelona, Spain, during college; and I love researching the lyrics of Argentine tango music (which you can also catch me dancing to on the weekends)
How can I help you?
Find out how you can succeed by using my Spanish to English translation services. I do not provide interpretation services or translation services in any other language combination. However, I may be able to recommend a colleague who does provide these services.
Please Note: I am currently taking very limited new clients and projects, with priority to nonprofit and international development organizations. I am not currently able to take projects from private individuals. If I am not available to help with your project, I recommend checking the American Translators Association Directories for a translator or interpreter who can provide more assistance.

I provide quotes based on the number of words in a document (translation) or an hourly rate (editing, proofreading, desktop publishing). These prices may vary depending on the type of document, your deadline, and the service(s) you request. All translations include complimentary editing and proofreading. Please request a free quote for details.

I prefer documents sent in .rtf, .doc, .docx, and .sxw file types. I can also translate .pdf, .indd, .htm, .html, .pub, and hard copies, although additional processing fees may be incurred.
